Hp Mini 1000 is HP 2nd toy in netbook line after 2000 series. The model has better flexibility on its price, configurations to compete with others.

HP Mini 1000 run on Intel Atom 1.6Ghz chipset which better than previous model. It also improve become thinner and lighter.

It is small, yet powerful enough for blogging. The software interface borrow from “TouchSmart” looks cool. It’s “instant-on” feature also an advantage. Don’t know how is the performance?

Cheap MSI Wind U100 (10-inch)

MSI is one of the market leader in ultra mobile netbook. It is not a news for the MSI Wind U100 model. But it is good news that its price drop at really low. You might want to compare its specifications with its price.

MSI Wind U100 was the first 10-inch netbook to feature the speedy new Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor. It is available in black and white. I like the white one, looks clean!

Averatec Buddy Netbook (10.2-inch, Intel Atom 1.6Ghz)

The term “Netbook” has become hot in the portable computer market. In February 2008, Intel has re-introduce the term “Netbook” as a category of small-sized, low-cost, light weight, lean function subnotebooks optimized for Internet access and core computing functions.

More than 50 million Netbooks are expected to be in widespread circulation by 2011. The first netbook model come into my mind was ASUS Eee PC. Following the current trend, Averatec have announced their latest netbook “Averatec Buddy”.
